Central volleyball cruises in GNAC opener

ELLENSBURG — With Rachael Schurman leading the way, Central Washington University’s volleyball team cruised to victory in its GNAC opener Thursday night at Nicholson Pavilion.

Schurman had 12 kills and five blocks to help the Wildcats sweep Montana State Billings 25-8, 25-20, 25-9.

Central improved to 9-4 overall, while Montana State Billings dropped to 0-2 in league and 2-12 overall.
Also for Central, Erin Norris had nine kills and five aces, and Maggie Olson had 22 assists.
