Jones leads EV rout

YAKIMA — Adrianna Jones fired in two goals in the opening 12 minutes and East Valley raced off with a 6-0 victory over Othello on Saturday to remain unbeaten in CWAC South girls soccer.

Yasamin Mohsenian also scored twice in the first half and Kaylah Gonzales finished with one goal and two assists for the Red Devils, who lifted their conference mark to 5-0.

Goalkeeper Amanda Freisz made two saves to preserve the shutout for EV, which plays at Ellensburg on Tuesday.

RICHLAND 3, WEST VALLEY 1: At West Valley, the Bombers broke a 1-1 tie in the second half with two late goals and improved to 6-1 in conference.

Sari Munoz pulled Wahluke even at 2-2 with her second goal in the 73rd minute.

On Friday, Riverside Christian lost 3-2 to Moses Lake Christian. Byrne and Yi Joong staked RC to a 2-0 lead.
