Toni Castillo, Sunnyside swimming, sophomore
Among Valley leaders in the 50 free and 100 fly, Castillo won those two events and helped two winning relays against Kamiakin.
CLASS 2A
Miranda Gunvaldson, Selah volleyball, senior
The Vikings’ trademark hustling defense got 13 digs from Gunvaldson in a sweep over previously top-ranked Grandview.
CLASS 1A
Kellie Bernhardt, Naches Valley soccer, junior
Sitting at 7-3 in the SCAC and 10-4 for the season, the Rangers are led by Bernhardt’s 12 goals and five assists.
CLASS 2B-1B
Junior Hernandez, Bickleton cross country, junior
Two days after placing second in a SCAC meet, Hernandez finished fifth in the Quincy Invitational and was the top B runner.
