Cadets clip Richland

YAKIMA — Katy Allen scored in the 72nd minute and Chantal Avila made the goal stand up as Eisenhower upset Richland 1-0 in a Columbia Basin Big Nine soccer match Tuesday at Marquette Stadium.

The victory improved the Cadets to 5-3 in league play while the Bombers slipped to 6-3.

Avila was credited with five saves for Ike, which continues league play Saturday at Moses Lake.

First half: None.

Second half: 1, Eisenhower, Katy Allen (Ashlyn Keller), 72:00.

Saves: Olivia Diaz (R) 1, Kenzie Lubeck (R) 1, Chantal Avila (E) 5.
