CWU falls to Alaska Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS, Alaska — Rachael Schurman had nine kills and Brandie Vea totaled 14 digs, but Central Washington fell 3-0 to Alaska Fairbanks.

The 25-22, 25-20, 25-21 victory dropped CWU to 4-2 in conference play and 12-6 overall.

Central highlights: Rachael Schurman 9 kills, 2 aces; Erin Norris 6 kills; Maggie Olson 20 assists, 10 digs; Brandie Vea 14 digs.
