Perez helps Hounds to first CWAC victory

GRANDVIEW — Vi Perez returned two kicks for touchdowns, taking a punt back 55 yards and later giving Grandview what proved to be the winning score with an 85-yard kickoff runback in the fourth quarter as the Greyhounds topped Ephrata on Friday night 31-28 for their first CWAC victory of the season.

Storm Shea rushed for 124 yards for Grandview (1-4 CWAC, 2-4 overall), while quarterback Josue Oros had touchdown runs of 1 and 22 yards and kicked a 20-yard field goal that turned out to be the difference in the game.

Eric Hensley had a pair of field goals for Ephrata, while Eric Tinnell ran for one touchdown and passed for another.
