Southridge shuts out Davis

YAKIMA — Andrew Mendenhall threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns — two to Devin Jones — and he also ran for a score to lead Southridge (4-0. 5-0) on Friday at Zaepfel Stadium.
Clayton Homme also caught a TD pass and returned an interception for a score for the Suns.
Davis’ Mitchell Vinsent ran for 81 yards, but the Pirates (0-3, 0-5) threw for only 19 yards and had three passes picked off as they recorded just five first downs in the game.
