Tigers drop Mansfield in three

THORP — Courtney Jantzer’s seven kills, 15 digs and four aces led Thorp to a 25-17, 25-23, 25-16 win over Mansfield in North Central 1B play Wednesday night.
The Tigers, winners of eight of their last nine matches, improved to 8-3 in league and 11-3 overall heading into their final regular-season match on Oct. 30.
Thorp highlights: Courtney Jantzer 7 kills, 4 aces, 15 digs; Caroline Bornhorst 4 aces, 3 kills; Caroline Glaves 7 assists, 4 aces; Morgan Lowery 4 kills, 2 aces; Dani Gamble 9 digs, 3 aces.
