CWU teams to stage food drive

ELLENSBURG — Central Washington’s men’s and women’s basketball programs are asking fans to bring cans of food to games at Nicholson Pavilion on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in support of a local holiday food drive.

The food will be delivered to an Ellensburg food bank by members of the men’s and women’s teams.

CWU’s women, hosting the Wildcat Classic, will play San Francisco State at 7 p.m. Friday and Western State (Colo.) at 2 p.m. Sunday. Western State and San Francisco State will meet at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Wildcats men will host Multnomah University of Portland at 7 p.m. Saturday.
