Mullen 18th in regional

SAN DIEGO — Marcie Mullen finished 18th in the women’s race to highlight Central Washington’s efforts in the NCAA Division II Western Regional cross country championships Saturday.
Mullen had a time of 22 minutes, 45.4 seconds on the 6-kilometer course at the University of California San Diego.
Seattle Pacific’s Jessica Pixler won the women’s race, while Chico State’s Scott Bauhs won the men’s race.
Chico State swept the men’s and women’s team titles.
