SUNNYSIDE — Matt Borton scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead West Valley past Sunnyside 55-45 in non-league boys basketball action Saturday night.
The win improved the Rams to 8-1 while the Grizzlies slipped to 4-3.
Taylor Berndt added 11 points for WV, which bolted to an 18-8 first-quarter lead.
Pedro Vargas led Sunnyside with 12 points and three assists.
