Eisenhower’s unbeaten boys debuted this week at No. 10 in the Seattle Times 4A state basketball poll. The Cadets return to action Tuesday night at Davis. West Valley’s girls check in at No. 9 in the 3A poll. Here’s the full 4A list. Gonzaga Prep is also 8-0.

Two area hoopsters topped 1,000 points for their careers during the holidays. West Valley’s Matt Borton reached the milestone in Arizona during his career-high 38-point game against Belmont, B.C. He currently stands at 1,086. Riverside Christian’s Madison Hahn is at 1,003 for her career following the Crusaders’ visit to a tournament last week in Lacey. The leader of the active list is Mabton’s Ana Jimenez, who has piled up 1,239.
