Walkenhauer a CWU co-captain

ELLENSBURG, Wash. — West Valley graduate Kevin Walkenhauer has been named one of four co-captains for this season’s Central Washington baseball team, the university

A junior pitcher-middle infielder, Walkenhauer batted .330 last season with four home runs and 28 runs batted in in only 88 at bats. In seven pitching appearances, including three starts, he was 2-1 with a 4.88 earned run average in 24 innings.

He was an all-GNAC honorable mention selection.

Joining Walkenhauer as co-captains will be senior outfielder A.J. Gosney, senior third baseman Frank Donangelo and sophomore relief pitcher Jake Millbauer.
