NACHES HEIGHTS, Wash. — Defending champions Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pacific and Marko Cheseto of Alaska Anchorage are among 15 returning all-conference participants scheduled to compete in Saturday’s ninth-annual GNAC cross country championships at Apple Ridge Run on Naches Heights.

Pixler is the two-time defending champion. Cheseto will try to become the first male to win a second title.

Last year Cheseto led UAA to the men’s team title while SPU edged UAA for its fourth straight team crown.

Central Washington will also compete.
