Three Yaks earn academic acclaim

YAKIMA, Wash. — Three Yakima Valley volleyball players have been named to the NWAACC All-Academic team.

Emily Harris of Selah, Jordan Kreider of Emmett, Idaho and Shalane Scott of Kennewick, all sophomores, were named to the squad after having met four criteria stipulated by the NWAACC.

All members must be sophomores, all must have earned at least 36 credits, all must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and all must have been recommended by their respective colleges.

Harris has compiled a 3.45 GPA while Kreider and Scott each have 3.25.
