Cadets fall to No. 1 Mead

SPOKANE, Wash. — Showing off its top-ranked form on its home court, Mead swept Eisenhower 25-12, 25-16, 25-20 in the first round of the 4A regional tournament Friday night.

The Cadets will play a loser-out match today at 12:30 p.m. against University, which lost in five to Southridge. Friday’s other first-round winners were Richland, Lewis & Clark and Southridge.

Eisenhower highlights: Carrie Johnston 8 assists; Kayla Randles 2 blocks; Tori Fisher 6 kills, 10 digs.
