Ike will host Southridge in opener

YAKIMA, Wash. — Eisenhower will host Southridge in its state football opener.

Coach Dan Eyman confirmed Saturday that his unbeaten, eighth-ranked Cadets will meet the 8-1 Suns at Zaepfel Stadium, and that game will be played at either 7 p.m. Friday or 1 p.m. Saturday.

Ike (10-0) earned its berth by beating Walla Walla 26-20 last Friday night while Southridge downed Mead 14-10.
