Power failure suspends CWU match

November 6, 2009 by YH-R Sports

SEATTLE — Central Washington’s GNAC volleyball match with Seattle Pacific was suspended Friday night due to a power failure at Brougham Pavilion.

The first game was tied 24-24 when the lights went out, and teams and spectators were escorted from the building when it was estimated that power would not be restored for several hours.

The teams will resume play at 7 p.m. Monday.
