PASCO, Wash. — James Lopez’s layup with 3.5 seconds left lifted Eisenhower’s boys, who trailed by five with two minutes remaining, to a 74-72 victory over Chiawana in CBBN Cascade basketball Friday night.

Lopez finished with a season-high 28 points as the senior point guard came up with four points, a steal and assist in the final 44 seconds to help rally the Cadets (6-2, 11-3).

Robert Bonser collected 11 points and 10 rebounds, and teammates Nathan Mount and Asya Morioka also scored in double figures.

The Cadets host third-ranked Richland (7-1, 13-1) tonight at 7:30.
