RICHLAND, Wash. — James Lopez, Ryan Watson and Robert Bonser combined for 67 points as Ike closed out the regular season with the impressive victory.

The Cadets finished fourth in the Cascade Division, setting up a first-round district contest at crosstown rival Davis on Saturday.

Lopez led the way with 27 points, while Watson and Bonser had 20 apiece.

Bonser also grabbed 11 rebounds, and Asya Morioka had nine points, six steals and five assists for the Cadets.

SUNNYSIDE, Wash. — Steven Broersma was a force all night. Trevor Wagenaar joined in at the finish and the result was a solid victory for Sunnyside Christian.

Broersma scored 24 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and eight blocked shots, and Wagenaar had all 12 of his points in the fourth quarter as the Knights (16-3) recorded a 53-38 non-league boys basketball victory over Riverside Christian on Tuesday.

Derek Byrne had 19 points, and Jeremy Pynch 13 points for Riverside Christian.

YAKIMA, Wash. — Jessica Bush and the Eisenhower girls basketball team closed out the regular season in style Tuesday night at Ike Gym.

Bush scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help power the Cadets to a 56-51 victory over Hanford in a CBBN Cascade Division game.

Ike, which had already clinched fourth place in the division, will travel to Wenatchee for a first-round district game Saturday night.

Kristina VanAlstine added 13 points, and Brittany Gaut added 11 for Ike.

Morgan Freeman had 19 points, and Laura Hughes 17 for Hanford.
