YAKIMA, Wash. — Outlasting Pasco in a six-round shootout, Eisenhower handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the season with a 2-1 victory in CBBN boys soccer Saturday at Marquette Stadium.

Junior Gustavo Razo made his penalty kick to put the Cadets up 5-4 in the sixth round and Pasco’s shooter hit the cross bar with his attempt to end the match.

Marco Marmolejo assisted Jonathan Herrera’s first-half goal and made his shot in the shootout for Ike, which visits Chiawana on Tuesday.

First half: 1, Eisenhower, Jonathan Herrera (Marco Marmolejo), 10:00; 2, Pasco, Jesse Macias, 14:00.

Second half: No scoring.

SUNNYSIDE 6, WEST VALLEY 3: At Sunnyside, the Grizzlies broke a 3-3 tie with three unanswered goals to push their season record to 3-3-1.

Sunnyside’s Sergio Licona had a goal and two assists in the first 28 minutes of a wild first half that included eight goals.

Dayton Abbott’s goal in the 58th minute drew Ellensburg within 2-1.
