TOPPENISH, Wash. — Isaac Anderson ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns and Ryan Fassler threw for two scores as the third-ranked Mustangs clinched the league championship and a Class 2A state playoff berth.
Anderson, who carried only nine times, scored on runs of 77 and 25 yards. Fassler, who finished 10 for 14 for 139 yards, connected with Wyatt Baker for a 44-yard score and Danny Raap for a 14-yard TD.
Prosser held the Wildcats to 148 yards of total offense, with Ernesto Veliz rushing 11 times for 62 yards.
East Valley 44, Wapato 15

YAKIMA, Wash. — Kaleb Schrank ran for 179 yards and three touchdowns to lead East Valley to victory on an emotional evening after four players were injured when their car was hit by a train earlier in the day.
Zecharaiah Romero returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown, David Garza had 144 rushing yards and a score and Jordan West passed to Jeano Compo for another touchdown. Efren Diaz hit Ignacio Ibarra with 62- and 38-yard scoring passes for Wapato.
According to East Valley coach Mark Mochel, three of the players injured in the accident were released from the hospital and a fourth was being kept overnight.

MABTON, Wash. — Antonio Gonzalez scored two touchdowns as the Scotties won for the second time in three weeks.
Gonzalez got Highland’s first score on an 18-yard pass from Parker Stohr, then added a 25-yard interception return in the fourth quarter.
Stohr threw for 121 yards and Andres Tereza rushed for 94 yards on 15 carries for Highland.

QUINCY, Wash. — Danny Hernandez caught 13 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown and also kicked a 23-yard field goal in a losing cause for the Vikings.
Nick Towery was 29 of 47 passing for 283 yards and a 21-yard scoring strike to Hernandez that brought Selah to within 18-16 late in the third quarter, but the Jackrabbits scored on their next play from scrimmage.
Quincy quarterback Jacob Durfee ran for three touchdowns and Antonio Meneldez ran for 137 yards and a TD for the Jacks.

GOLDENDALE, Wash. — Braydon Ross scored three touchdowns and kicked a field goal and five extra points as the Timberwolves claimed the SCAC West’s No. 3 seed.
Lucas Denney passed for two touchdowns and ran for another for, and also gained 86 yards to lead a balanced Goldendale ground attack. The T-wolves will travel to Royal for next week’s crossover.
Granger’s Caleb Resendez rushed for 231 yards and a touchdown.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Chris Haueter ran for 122 yards and three touchdowns to lead Southridge.
Cody LaRiviere gained 104 yards on 29 rushes and scored WV’s first TD on a 9-yard run. Ronnie Roosendaal, who had eight pass receptions for 93 yards, got the Rams’ other score on a 10-yard pass from Max King.
Ellensburg 55, Ephrata 17

ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Matt Bennett rolled up 434 yards in total offense in a highly efficient effort, and accounted for three touchdowns as Ellensburg rolled.
Bennett was 12 of 17 for 256 yards passing — averaging 21.3 yards per completion — and ran 14 times for 178 yards, a 12.7 per-carry average. He scored on runs of 7 and 1 yard, and threw an 80-yard touchdown to Damien Roseberry.
Austin Lyman and Gabe Caskey both scored twice for the Bulldogs.

SUNNYSIDE, Wash. — Israel Manzo ran 26 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns, and he also kicked two field goals to lead the Grizzlies.
Manzo scored on runs of 77 and 19 yards. His field goals covered 32 and 34 yards.
Quarterback Eduardo Salmeron and Jacob Ross hooked up on a pair of scoring passes covering 8 and 16 yards for Sunnyside.
