Clinging to a one-point lead after the first period, the Wildcats hit the gas in the second quarter and never let up en route to a 64-42 victory over Wapato in CWAC play Tuesday night.

I wish I had gotten the chance to go to the game. Shannon and Randy are my little cousins. It would’ve been nice to see them play. Good job Toppenish!!

Good coverage and photos, but where’s the headline that Wapato Girls basketball team beat Toppenish Girls basketball team that same night? Two different teams with separate outcomes – please report on both.

Both the boys and girls games will be on MVTV Charter Cable local access channel 21, probably starting about next Tuesday. Check the schedule at http://www.midvalleytv.com.
