A senior and team captain, Wood, from Riverside High School in Chattaroy, led the Wildcats this past season with 111 tackles, including 17 tackles for loss. He also had five fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles and three blocked kicks, and finished as CWU’s career leader in fumble recoveries, forced fumbles and fumble recovery touchdowns.

Lorig a finalist for honor

ELLENSBURG — Defensive coordinator Joe Lorig has been named one of three finalists for Division II Coordinator of the Year by FootballScoop.
