The scoring leaders are through the games of Feb. 3. They are also based on reported scores, which are usually from the team that is playing at home in a particular game, so there could be some differences between them.

Fidel medina completely dominated Kyle anson. He was leading 6 – 0 in 2nd round, then put anson on his back for the pinfall. Fidel hands down been the best 106 in the valley all season…he is stuck in an extremely stacked region for his wt so good luck this wknd.

Rob is correct regarding the Eurasian collared dove. The Washinhton Department of Fish and Wildlife classifies them as a “predatory bird” and regulations state that they may be hunted throughout the year. A current valid hunting license is the only requirement. He is also correct in warning hunters to be sure of their target as the two dove species can be found together.

I am originally born and raised in Wapato. Graduated from Wapato High School back in 84. Currently living in Eastern North Carolina with my family. However I would greatly appreicate if there was more in depth coverage of girls CWAC high school basketball. My family, to include my parents and brother and his family (wife and kids) still live in Wapato. I follow my niece via the internet on all her sports she plays for Wapato High School. It’s great reading and hearing how other local schools are doing. But I am more interested in my neice and how Wapato does against other schools.

Klickitat has played 3 more games since this. We have played a total of 14 games or 17 if you count the tournaments as two each since they were 2 day tourneys. All of the scores were on the herald website with the exception of the Dufur tournament and a game agains Lyle.

I agree with seasonal, but only “as it is” closure. Not closure every season and thats it. And not ALL trails. Some trails need monitoring than others during spring.

This is a misquote in my opinion. The Shindig Wheelers and other clubs, and the PNW4WDA have adopted trails and have been conserving them for years. Every year we go on these trails and fix them. Shindig Wheelers have two trails that we’ve adopted, broke our backs working on, spent our personal time one, and another that we built a bridge to prevent damage. We are constantly asking and telling them we are available, just let us know when and we will be there. We never hear from them. The misquote being this “When you go to the Adopt-a-Trail program, these user groups that adopt a trail are in for a three-year ride,” Davidson said.

“If they want to adopt a trail, they’re going to have to bring in bodies. The level we have now isn’t enough to maintain the trails.”
