Information, In 2002 Grandview High school boys basketball team was the smallest team to win a W.I.A.A. State Championship , the tallest player was 6′2 ,and they had a prefect record…27-0 .

I work here at State Fair Park and the SunDome and I’ve always wanted to see a set-up done exactly this way. Our crew is awesome. I actually wonder how many times since the SunDome opened that our crew has set the basketball floors, then dismantled them? They’ve certainly got it down to an efficient system!

Actually, Oak Creek does not open to foot traffic until 6 a.m., May 1 and vehicle traffic at 8 a.m. Here’s a link to check out:

Amen to givemeabreak…I’m curious how many “fresh starts” it’s going to take for the board to realize the problem is with the board itself. And what’s up with changing the team names? We were always proud to be a Scarlet or a Blue, and always excited to someday EARN the right to be a Beetle. Good luck to Mr. Moore though, hopefully the board treats you better than the past couple of coaches…

CWAC and it voting method for recognition is so distorted it’s nearly criminal. Luckily no recruiters look at who has 1st team 2nd team honors. They already know which kids have the talent and heart.
Look at which athletic directors kids get voted in. It’s obviously not about what is right or fair it’s about the egos of certain adults who have standing or leverage in the small town political scene.

These people know who they and they simply don’t care!!

Shameful!!!

I am still wondering why they had same ref in soap lake and pe ell game. I have asked on WIAA website no answer, this ref was so biased and he was same ref who called 90% of calls in both games plus “so called” flagrant against cougs, where announcer was questioning fouls by ref online games. We had family listening to these games all 3 days. I don’t understand why WIAA will not answer these questions right now. I gladly paid $78 for 4 day passes, $5/day parking, $12 per sheet of pictures, and $6 for program, gladly paid 66 bux cuz I thought they would get decent refs. Hohum it aint over pushtans will never change they will always be spootnitches. That’s all why biased ref in two games? Why the technical and cougs don’t play like that never have never willbecuz rangal will not put up with immature fouls like ref called. Why? Come on now tell truth WIAA hates seeing such an elite team be successful and you will not give fair play. Why why?? Proud cougar fan
