Away at school: Kline leading AFA in average

YAKIMA, Wash. - SETH KLINE (Eisenhower), a sophomore at Air Force, is batting a team-high .360 with 19 RBI for the Falcons’ baseball team. Kline, a first baseman/designated hitter who bats third in the lineup, hit a three-run home run last week in a 10-8 win over San Diego State.

MIKE MARSHALL (West Valley), a junior at Idaho, was recently named the Western Athletic Conference’s track and field athlete of the week for taking over the conference lead in the javelin with a 10-foot personal best at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge. Marshall has a season best of 217-10, which ranks fifth all-time in school history.

SKYLOR DAVIS (Zillah), a sophomore at Simon Fraser, earned All-American honors for placing fifth at 125 pounds at the National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championships. Davis won four of six matches in the tournament, including the final for fifth place.
