Legion Baseball: Yakima Valley falls at Twin City

RICHLAND, Wash. — Twin City scored early and often Thursday, coasting to a 7-4 victory over the Yakima Valley Pepsi Pak in a Central Washington League game.

The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was rained out.

Chris Walker was 3 for 3 with a double to lead the Pak (2-1 league, 5-1 overall) and Cole Gilman and Ryan Ross had two hits each.

But the Titans scored three times in the first inning, once in the second and three more in the third for a 7-0 lead.

Yakima Valley hosts the Hagert Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Carlon Park.
