Selah 18s 5th at state

VANCOUVER, Wash. — The Selah 18s fastpitch team finished fifth at the Washington 18A state tournament, held Friday through Saturday.

Selah finished pool play undefeated, knocking off Clark County 84 and Team Extreme 10-2.

In bracket play, Selah opened with a 4-0 win over the Washington Illusion and a 7-2 victory over the Washington Mustangs.

They lost to the defending state champion Spokane Mudhens 6-1, and lost to Lake Stevens 10-2 to finish in fifth place.
